Angie Yoo, M.A., NCC
LPC
Angie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Texas Tech University and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at Tyler.
Angie has experience working in ministry and the mission field alongside her parents, serving at-risk and underprivileged communities. She also has a strong background in Social Emotional Learning and counseling in school and alternative education (DAEP) settings.
Angie believes in creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their emotions, build resilience, and discover their inherent worth. With a collaborative and strengths-based approach, she empowers children, teens, and families to heal, grow, and embrace their unique potential. Angie is passionate about using play therapy to help children and teens express themselves, regulate emotions, and build grit/resilience.
Since October 2023, she has been honing her play therapy skills and is working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist under the guidance of Alexis Combest, LPC-S, RPT-S.
